Company Profile of PETERBOROUGH CRANE HIRE

Peterborough Crane Hire was established in 1981 by Stuart Smith with the purchase of a 25 tonne telescopic mobile crane.

From one crane the company now has 20 cranes ranging from 12 tonnes to 300 tonnes.

The largest of their cranes is the Grove GMK6300 with 110 metres under the hook. They also operate a Terex Demag AC120-1 and ranging down to a Grove AP415 'low headroom crane' for factory work.

Their cranes are backed up by our transport and service departments.

Stuart oversees the day to day running of the company assisted by brother Trevor on the hire desk.

From inception to present day they endeavour to provide a first class service.
