We specialise in excavators, both operated and self-drive. The company is a family business which has been trading since 1969. We operate one of the largest excavator fleets in the East Midlands with a policy of renewing our machines every three years.

All our equipment is subject to thorough safety inspections and regular planned maintenance.  Our team of fully qualified service engineers are ready to respond promptly to any service requirements.

Danaher & Walsh (Plant Hire) Ltd have the ability to ensure that your plant requirements are supplied on time, to the right location, to the correct specification and at a competitive price.

Our equipment is available with a fully trained operator, or on a self-drive basis. The majority of our operators also hold a “Gas Passport” which means that they are qualified to work next to live gas mains.

• Hydraulic Breakers are available
• All operators hold a CPCS certificate of Training Achievement.
• All of the items of plant are available on an Operated or Self-drive basis.
• All plant is offered for hire under CPA Model Terms & Conditions, copies of which are available on request.

All tracked excavators above 10 tonne are supplied complete with:

• Security tracking devices
• Vandal Guards
• Miller Quick Hitch
• Overload warning devices
