In 2004, after many years of plant hire services operating as the plant division of Farm and General Services, FGS Plant Limited was established and moved primarily to a new site at Sittingbourne, as well as some operations remaining at Pluckley (near Ashford).

2004 saw a massive investment into a range of new and top of the range plant and machinery in order for them to provide their existing and potential customers total plant hire solutions.

Their prime locations, just off the M2 and M20 motorways and the extensive range of plant available enables them to deliver and operate machinery anywhere in Kent and throughout the South East in efficient time and often at very short notice for any unexpected requirements.

All plant and machinery is available for self-drive hire or with qualified operators. Training is an important part of their business and all staff are CPCS cardholders in various categories of plant. In addition to the CPCS scheme, staff regularly undergo frequent health and safety training.
