Vertical Transportation Ltd offers a comprehensive range of Tower Cranes, Passenger/Goods Hoists and Ancillary Lifting Equipment. Established in 1980, the combined knowledge, expertise and hands-on experience of both directors has provided many successful years serving the construction industry.

Their depot is situated in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire - a good central location in close proximity to all major roads which enables them to offer efficient service nationally.

Tower Cranes

Their extensive fleet offers a varied choice of tower cranes ranging from the practical 6.0 metre jib of the Magnilite up to the commanding 64.0 metre jib of the Linden Comansa. The versatile Tornborgs Magnilite S1000/6 fitted with a 6.0 metre jib has a lifting capacity of 1000Kgs. This machine is operated by a remote control and has the added bonus of being able to be sited on top of a Passenger/Goods Hoist thus increasing productivity on site.

The Tornborgs Magni S46 and Kroll K103V complete with folding jibs are ideal for inner city sites where over sailing restrictions are in place. The Magni model is available with a 30 metre jib with a maximum lifting capacity of 2.20 Tonnes. The K103V is available with a 30 or 35 metre jib with a maximum lifting capacity of 8.00 Tonnes.

On a larger scale they offer a wide range of machines predominately consisting of the Danish Kroll and Spanish Linden. The Kroll K125L fitted with an impressive 55.0 metre jib is capable of lifting 8.00 Tonnes at a radius of 13 metres. The equally impressive Linden Comansa 8452 fitted with a 64.0 metre jib is able to lift 12.0 Tonnes.

They offer a varied and wide range of Passenger/Goods Hoist up to a maximum load of 3800 Kgs.

Their extensive fleet of Tower Cranes and Passenger/Goods Hoists, together with their dedicated and competent workforce enables them to offer their customers a professional and efficient service. 

Their tower cranes are supplied with or without an operator. Their own operators are fully qualified and all hold a valid CPCS operators card.

Full training is given on site for the safe use and operation of our Passenger/Goods Hoists.
 
All service engineers and site personnel undergo frequent health and safety training and are fully qualified in their specific field.
